Practice
Bonnie L. Yagar joined Pallett Valo in 1999 and has been practicing law since 1995.
Bonnie is the head of Pallett Valo's Wills, Estates & Trusts Practice and assists clients with estate planning (including wills, powers of attorney, and trusts). She is particularly interested in estate planning for beneficiaries who have a disability. She also assists clients with estate administration as well as contentious estate matters, advising estate trustees, surviving spouse, family members, and other beneficiaries.
A resident of Mississauga since 1983, Bonnie has been involved in the community in various capacities. She is currently Past-President of Community Living Mississauga ("CLM"), member of numerous CLM committees, director of Community Living Mississauga Foundation, Support and Trustee Advisory Services and Mississauga Homes for Independent Living, and member of the Community Foundation of Mississauga’s Donor Development Committee. In 2008, Bonnie received a Civic Award for Outstanding Community Involvement and was named Mississauga's Citizen of the Year.
