Practice
Murray has a wealth of experience working with clients and other advisors to devise strategies and create solutions for all stages of the development and growth of businesses and the lives of the people who own and manage them. He designs solid legal foundations to foster success and profitability for clients ranging from small and new ventures to large, well-established companies across a broad spectrum of industries.
Murray’s affinity for working with entrepreneurs stems in part from his personal experience as a business owner and past Managing Partner of Pallett Valo LLP. He makes a point of forming lasting relationships with business owners, managers and their other trusted business advisors to foster a solid team approach to matters such as business structures, financing arrangements, intellectual property matters, mergers and acquisitions and business succession planning.
Over the past 30 years, Murray has applied his unique foresight and creative problem-solving skills to help business owners and managers anticipate, plan for and successfully navigate a wide range of challenges, including creative contractual arrangements, partnership and shareholder conflicts, all kinds of contractual disputes, insolvency, re-structuring and business succession planning.
While Murray continues to deal with many different business ownership models, his expertise in dealing with family-owned businesses expands upon his work in the broader private sector market, with a special appreciation for the unique dynamics of family enterprises.
