We are the largest law firm in Peel Region and trace our roots to the establishment of Pallett & Pallett in 1948. The founding partners were the late Sidney Valo and the late John Pallett. Around 1980, Pallett & Pallett merged with another firm called Milman Valo, hence the name Pallett Valo.
Pallett Valo LLP’s main office is based in Mississauga. We also have two state-of-the-art dedicated workspaces (by appointment only) in downtown Toronto and Vaughan.

Pallett Valo's Historical Timeline
Establishment of the law firm, Pallett & Pallett in Port Credit. Founded by John Cameron Pallett and his brother George Leslie Pallett. The firm focuses on Real Estate Law.
In 1980, Pallett & Pallett merged with Milman Valo Barsky, another Port Credit law firm, to become Pallett Valo Barsky & Hutcheson. Offices move to the Square One area. As the business grows the firm goes through a few name changes finally becoming known as Pallett Valo in 1987.
Offices move to Sussex Centre on Burnhamthorpe Rd. The first of many female partners join the firm and from this point forward, our ratio of female to male partners remains high.
First female partner to serve as Managing Partner. Firm starts strategically focusing on serving the business community.
The firm officially becomes Pallett Valo LLP and introduces a Professional Management team.
Right-sized Thinking approach is introduced.
First honoured by our business community for Excellence in Business Awards in Peel Business Times (formerly Mississauga Business Times). Since 2007, we have been voted the Platinum Award Winner eight times and the Gold Award Winner three times.
Canadian Lawyer magazine readers first honour us as one of the top ten Ontario Regional Law Firms, an honour that is repeated in each of the following bi-annual surveys: 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
Pallett Valo becomes a member of an international association.
The growing firm moves into state-of-the-art offices at 77 City Centre Drive.
To better serve our client’s needs, Pallett Valo opens two by appointment only workspaces. The Exchange Tower in the Financial District in Toronto and Keele Rutherford Corporate Centre in Vaughan. Pallett Valo launches the PV Women’s Network. We are proud of our continuous growth and the increasing number of specialized lawyers and LEXPERT lawyers we have gained over the years.
