Manpreet Kaur

Effective problem solver with exceptional advocacy skills.

Manpreet Kaur practices in the areas of commercial litigation and estate litigation.

In commercial litigation matters, she acts for clients ranging from small family-owned businesses to multinational corporations in business disputes, creditor remedies and collection issues, negligence, and general litigation.

With the aim to minimize exposure to liability, mitigate damages and avoid drawn-out litigation, she provides the most effective litigation strategy to achieve her clients’ goals and business objectives. Manpreet regularly appears in the Superior Court of Justice and is a strong and successful advocate for her clients.

Coming from a family that has run numerous small businesses in various industries, she relates well to family-owned businesses and provides a very practical and economically efficient approach to problem solving. Drawing on her experience, she is adept at managing clients’ expectations and delivering within required timeframes.

In estate litigation, she represents estate trustees, beneficiaries, and attorneys for property and personal care. Working with the parties to resolve disputes without depleting estate assets with legal fees and tying the estate up in lengthy litigation, she assists them in resolving their disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

In addition, Manpreet proactively advises estate trustees on possible issues in the estate administration process and claims against the estate.
