Changes To Decades-old Alberta Condo Legislation 'long Overdue,' Lawyer Says - (Lawyer's Daily)

Alberta condo buyers are receiving more protection from changes to the province’s condominium legislation. The Alberta government has taken new steps to reassure condo buyers that their investments are properly looked after. This includes regulations that require builders to give a final move in date and realistic condo estimates for condo fees.  Ray Mikkola, a member of Pallett Valo’s Commercial Real Estate Practice, weighs in on these new changes and  speaks about similar regulations in Ontario.
