We are pleased to announce that Catherine DiMarco has been appointed as a regional director for Ontario of the Society of Construction Law North America.
The SCL North America was founded in 2017 with the objective to promote education, study, and research in the field of construction law and related subjects in the USA, Canada, South America, and overseas. Its regional directors support the society’s mission by hosting webinars and other events in each region throughout the year.
Catherine is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in construction law. In 2020, she was named as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers’ Society of America. She is the incoming Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Construction and Infrastructure Law Section for the 2023-2024 year; a past executive committee member and board member of the Canadian Construction Association, and a former vice-chair of the Manufacturers, Suppliers and Services Council of the CCA. Catherine has been recognized as a Leading Practitioner in Construction Law by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and in Best Lawyers of Canada™ .
