This year Pallett Valo turned 70 and what better way to say thank you to our community than to Give Back to the community. In November, Pallett Valo will participate in the United Way’s Fall Days of Caring Program, allowing all of our employees the opportunity to volunteer for one of the various community organizations partnering with United Way on this initiative.
Giving back to the community is a long standing tradition at Pallett Valo (see PV Cares) and this campaign allows our staff to go above and beyond the annual charity events organized throughout the year. Some of these being:
- Monthly United Way fundraising events
- Annual week long United Way fundraising events
- Holiday Angels
- Toys for Tots
- Thanksgiving Food Drives
- Participation in the Shoe Box Project each December
Since 1948, we have had the privilege of partnering with many worthwhile not-for-profit organizations, charity groups and community agencies. It connects us to the community, and to many of the businesses that we do business with who exhibit a similar community responsibility and caring attitude.
We take our responsibility to serve our broader community very seriously. From providing pro bono legal work, to participating in charity events to serving as a volunteer board member, all of our lawyers and staff are encouraged to follow their interests and give of themselves wherever possible through the donation of time, resources and talent.

Pallett Valo has grown to be Peel Region’s largest full-service law firm. We have strong and dedicated roots in Mississauga dating back to our founding in 1948. With our more than 35 lawyers and a full complement of 85 people, we are well set to deliver excellent legal services to our clients in Mississauga as well as throughout Ontario and internationally. Two of our lawyers are amongst those recognized as The Best Lawyers in Canada and four have been recognized in the Canadian Legal LEXPERT Directory.
We are proud to have been voted by the readers of Canadian Lawyer Magazine as one of Ontario’s Top 10 Regional Law Firms, in four consecutive surveys, beginning in 2011. The firm reached the rank of 3rd in 2017.
We have been honoured to have been repeatedly voted for in the Excellence in Business Awards in the Peel Business Times (formerly Mississauga Business Times). Pallett Valo was voted the Gold Award Winner for the Lawyers category in 2017. Since 2007, we have been voted the Platinum Award Winner eight times and the Gold Award Winner three times.
