While serving his second two-year term on the board of directors of the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto, Monty Dhaliwal has been elected as Vice President for the 2022/2023 term.
The South Asian Bar Association of Toronto is the GTA’s premier legal organization dedicated to promoting the objectives of South Asian members of the legal profession and Canada’s largest diverse bar association. Its dynamic membership includes influential legislators, industry leaders, trendsetters in the equity, diversity, and inclusion space, and supremely talented advocates and jurists of South Asian origin (including a Supreme Court Justice), and those that advocate on issues of relevance to the South Asian community.
Since its inception over 15 years ago, SABA Toronto has been serving as a networking forum, an advocacy group, and an employment resource. It also undertakes various events every year, and Toronto will be hosting the SABA North America Convention for the first time in 2024.
