Trevor Moum is a wills and estate lawyer. A significant part of his practice is focused on estate litigation.

Estate disputes can be acrimonious and are usually emotionally taxing on all parties. Trevor approaches sensitive issues with empathy and thoughtfulness and aims to achieve appropriate solutions as swiftly as possible. Clients appreciate his ability to listen, identify their specific needs, and seek practical and cost-effective outcomes. Where compromise is not possible, he is a firm and forceful advocate.

Drawing on his extensive experience in estate litigation, Trevor acts for clients in a wide variety of matters, such as complex estate disputes and multi-day hearings, guardianship applications, breach of trust claims, certificates of pending litigation, contested shareholder agreements, and oppression remedy applications. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.

Trevor has extensive experience assisting clients to manage and transfer assets through business succession plans, trusts and wills. His experience drafting complex wills, powers of attorney, and trust deeds for business owners and high-net-worth individuals informs his approach to estate and trust administration and business succession issues.
