Sarah Rustomji has a broad commercial litigation practice.

She provides effective advice and advocacy to clients facing serious business issues, including those that arise in commercial tenancy disputes, defamation cases, shareholder and oppression disputes, expropriation matters and PPSA security and enforcement.

Sarah also brings years of experience to resolving disputes for insurers, particularly in property, professional negligence and occupiers’ liability claims.

Clients value her reasonable and pragmatic approach and her ability to clarify the often confusing world of commercial litigation. She is skilled in conducting examinations for discovery, mediations and pretrials and has handled Superior Court trials and argued complex applications.

Although Sarah is active at all levels of the Ontario courts, she is also experienced in commercial arbitrations, successfully appearing as counsel or co-counsel, particularly in commercial leasing arbitrations.

In addition to her busy practice, Sarah has served as a director of the Peel Law Association since 2023.
