Contaminated Lands and Brownfields

Each province in Canada has its own regulations governing contaminated lands and how or if those lands can be remediated and ultimately developed.

Brownfields are properties that are either vacant or underutilized where past industrial or commercial activities have left contamination behind. Pallett Valo LLP has extensive knowledge in contamination and brownfields regulation, and we assist our clients in working with the right team of engineers, environmentalists and other experts, to comply with the regulations, and bring the brownfields to their best use.
